[YITP Workshop]

Fomation and Evolution of Supermassive Binary Black Holes

[Introduction]

The purpose of this workshop is to discuss the role of supermassive binary black holes in AGN, as well as the relationship with the formation of the central black hole.

It is hoped that the workshop will both encourage cooperation between theories and observations in this field and stimulate researchers based on the general hypothesis, in which the nuclei contains the single black hole.

Main subjects are:
*Observational (possible) evidence of binary black holes
*Merging history of galaxies and black holes in the CDM cosmology
*Accretion processes in single and binary black hole systems
*New observational methods with radio and X-ray facilities, etc.
*Gravitational waves from merging black holes
